THE CLASSIC BED VALANCE

The Classic Bed Valance came to be when Tasha was designing 14 bedrooms in a Georgian Manor and could not find any Bed Valances for the job . She wanted something elegant and simple but beautifully made with some structure to them. Inspired by Georgian proportions, The Classic is well proportioned, restrained and totally timeless. 

Made with a medium weight linen, this valance is lined in 100% cotton for added structure and weight. 

Our linen is woven in Lithuania at the oldest and largest linen mill in the Baltics. It then makes its way to County Durham, where our talented seamstresses cut, sew and finish each piece by hand.

THE ANATOMY OF A BED VALANCE

Each of our Classic Bed Valances is made using approximately 4-6 metres of European linen, depending on the size. Everything is cut by hand before the cotton lining is prepared, the piping is covered in our "Sugar" linen, and each piece is carefully sewn together to create a beautiful finish.
